Your first card

Design a card in the dashboard, publish it, and save it to your own phone. No code needed.

About 10 minutes

Pick a kind of card

Open the dashboard, go to Cards and start a new card. Choose the kind that matches what you do:

Design it

Add your logo and colours, and choose a strip picture or one of the generated patterns. The preview shows the card as Apple Wallet and Google Wallet will, and changes as you edit. Click any part of the preview to jump to its setting.

Fields can show fixed text, like opening hours, or a variable that’s different for each customer, like {{customer.name}}. Variables are what you fill in when you hand out a card, in the dashboard or through the API.

ContrastKorti checks that text is readable on your background colour, and warns you before you publish if it isn’t.

Publish it

Your design saves as you go, as a draft. When it looks right, choose Publish card. Publishing freezes a version: passes are always built from a published version, so a half-finished edit never reaches a customer’s phone.

Later edits make a new draft. Publishing again creates version 2. Passes you already handed out keep the version they were issued with until you choose to update them.

Save it to your phone

Issue a pass to yourself and open its link on your phone. On iPhone, tap Add to Apple Wallet. On Android, tap Save to Google Wallet.

Until your business goes live (a company check, a payment card, and Apple Wallet through Korti or your own certificate), passes are trial passes on both wallets. They work on real phones but expire after 7 days, and you can hand out 25. See Apple Wallet: Korti-issued or your own certificate.
